
Bench is right on track for a HUGE pr. Staying the course and getting better by the week.
3 huge things that have improved my bench: 1. upping volume has helped extremely. 2. Having Frankl keep me accountable. 3. getting a shirt that lets me use my natural groove and doesnt flatten me out!
I did a total of 6 speed sets with 545, AFTER the top set of 685. The thing that makes these hard are the short rest periods. There were 4-5 of us tonight and we blew through the whole training session in about 2 hours.
Starting to turn up the intensity and weight with the deadlift now. The goal at the meet is to make a big total, and that requires smart jumps, especially on the DL. With that said, I’d love to hit between 820-830, which is very achievable, IMO.
